On the plane headed to DISNEYLAND!

Mason did pretty good, took a nap most of the time......

Chace not as good. He cried most of the time.

The first day we arrived we checked into our hotel room and dropped our bags and we were headed to our first day of Disneyland. We were there with Scotland's parents and his younger brother Chris and his wife Amber.

We finally made it! Mason didn't react the way I was anticipating him to. He was very quite that first day and didn't have much expression on his face as we walked through Disneyland and went on some rides. I think he was just in shock that such a place like this existed. But each day as we kept going back I could really see the excitement on his face when we went into the park because he knew what to expect. He absolutely loved Disneyland and every morning he woke up asking to go again.
In front of the Disney Castle

Right on the other side of the castle almost when you get through the tunnel there is this little metal mark on the ground in the stone and that is the center mark of the entire Disney park! Pretty cool.

Some Characters Mason got to meet....

This picture is PRICELESS! Thanks amber for capturing such a Kodak moment.
Some fun rides that we rode!
Ok so just a tip for anyone going to Disneyland in the near future....Bring a handicap person with you that's in a wheel chair! We had to rent me one since I am in my walking boot for fracturing my leg during my half marathon. We got to the front of the line on many of the rides. It was so awesome! Thanks honey for pushing me around everywhere all day long!

It's a small world.

Chace loved this ride.

It's only tradition to get a kiss on this ride since it's so romantic...or maybe because it's so slow and there's nothing else to do?! :)

Dumbo ride! Scotland and his brothers favorite. Me and Mason are in the elephant in front of them.

Nemo submarine ride. Mason and Chace both loved this underwater ride.

Auto-topia. Mason loved getting to actually drive his own car.

Buzz light year ride. Not sure who liked this ride more?

Tower of terror in California adventure. This ride is crazy you free fall for 12 stories. This one made me kinda sick but not as bad as Space Mountain. I hated that one!

Mason rode the huge farris wheel in the background of this picture at night and he loved it!

Roaring rapids!

Splash mountain. (picture of a picture, we're cheap)

Even though we bought Mason these big skater shoes to try and make him a little taller he was still not quite 40 inches tall so he didn't get to ride any of the big rides except for the Madahorn. That one is pretty big and he LOVED it! That was his favorite that he rode 4 times!

The boys loved watching the pixar parade!

We loved watching the electrical parade, fantasmic and the firwork show. Disneyland is such a mgical place at night when everything lights up!

Mason & Amber (this is Mason's aunt, my sister in law)

Mason & Grandpa
The firework shows are amazing!
We saw the coolest 3-D movies! "Muppet show","Honey I shrunk the audience" and "It's tough to be a bug" Mason got very scared in that one and Grandma had to take the glasses off and reasure him that it wasn't real and bug's really weren't coming out to get him.
And ate at the best places!

Ok if your tired of looking at pictures stop now. If not here are LOTS more random pictures of the fun times we had! Mostly for journaling purposes. I couldn't possibly sum up how much fun we had in just a few pictures. If you would like and have the time scroll through them!

I'm so grateful we are a Forever Family!

We owe a HUGE thanks to Scot's parents for making this trip possiable for us! We had so much fun and made so many memories to last a long long time! We are so grateful for you and for the Grandparents you are to our boys. They both love you so much and are lucky to have you in their lives. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!!

Yeah!!! I'm so glad you had so much fun! I loved the turkey leg picture. See, you and Tyler are both cheesy;) I'm so excited to go in the fall with the kids--this made me want to be there now. There is so much we haven't seen, like CA Adventure. Anyway glad you guys were able to take this trip, Mason will not soon forget and we'll all have to go together sometime too!
I miss Disneyland!! We had such a good time, can't wait to see you guys agian in August!
Oh you guys had such a wonderful trip. What great pictures! I'm glad the boys liked it. I loved the music you put on, it almost brought a tear to my eye hearing it. My kids were going nuts saying how much they wanted to go back. Our fav. time is at night also, there's just something so magical about Disney at Night.
Those were great pictures! So glad you had a great time! This really makes me want to go even though I had wanted to wait until my kids got a little older. I agree about Space Mountain making you sick...it made me sick too. I'm assuming you didn't go with Mason on the Teacup ride?! ;) Great that you were with other people so that you could get some good pictures of you, Scot and the kids. We hardly have any pictures with the 4 of us together because one of us always has to be behind the camera!!
Isn't Disneyland the best?! I can't wait to go again! Love all the pictures. I'm surprised that your kids weren't scared of "Honey, I shrunk the audience." We had to leave in the middle of it because our kids were so freaked out. Kaitlyn was still talking about how scary it was WEEKS later! :-)
