I found a cool idea on the "Today" show for dying Easter egg's. Dye them a light color and let them dry. Then you drizzle rubber cement all over them and let that dry a minute or two. Then put the egg in a darker color.
Once the egg is done and dry you peel off the rubber cement and the lighter color shows and looks pretty cool! I'm sure it's not recommended for the one's you plan on eating but I tried one and it didn't taste any different then a regular dyed egg.
A little bit of Chace singing I am a child of God......Easter Morning!

They loved looking for the Easter egg's that were hidden around the house by the Easter bunny..... As you can see they weren't hidden in very hard places so that didn't take very long?!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Oooooh, that is a cool idea! Sadly, we haven't dyed eggs since even Kaitlyn was born! It's just way too messy for me to actually WANT to do it. But luckily both of the kids dyed a few eggs at school this year, so that made up for it, right? ;-)
wished we were there with ya. we colored eggs with you kids every year. Keep the tradition going you're a good mother!
Wasn't it horrible to have to egg hunt indoors!? Stupid NW weather! Cute idea for the egg-dyeing. And cute video!
We always do egg hunts, but we find chocolate eggs, so it doesn't matter the weather outside, since we always do it inside. The rubber cement idea is a good idea, but kinda time consuming right?
