Happy Fathers Day

Scotland had to work today so all day I've been practicing with Mason saying "Happy Father's Day"....for when his daddy walks in the door. It finally came time for him to come home, we had his cards we made him all set up on his dinner plate and his favorite dinner made! (Ribs and steak) When he walked through the door Mason ran up to him and said "Happy Birthday Dad"!?

After all that practicing he said happy birthday?!?!? We gad a good laugh though. Here are a few pictures of this special day.

The cards we made him and a candy bar from church that they were passing out for fathers day!

This is a fathers day present project I did with some friends. You poor concrete in a pie tin and get your kids foot print in it. Then you can remove it from the pie tin and put it in your yard for stepping stones. It didn't turn out exactly how I was picturing it but still a cute idea and the boys LOVED making them! (I painted the concrete to give it more of an effect of a foot print because you couldn't really tell otherwise)

We also had my parents over for dessert so I could spend fathers day with my dad!

I gave him two polo shirts and some See's candy

Hope all the dad's out there had a great Father's Day and they felt loved by their family as much as we love our dad in our family!
