This year for Halloween the boys were Mater and Lightening McQueen! I love that they are still so small that I get to pick their costumes out! This might be my last year for Mason though!? He liked his Mater costume because that's his nick name but he really wanted to be WALL-E!! Chace loved his costume though...anything to be like his big brother!

Mason especially loved that it had a tow hook on the back.

Funny video of them running around....
We did the Battle Ground tradition of going around and trick or treating at the businesses downtown on Friday night.

Here's the gang that went....Chace is in there he is just two short and got lost in the crowd.

Didn't take any pictures during the trick or treating because Scot wasn't with us due to work and so I was too busy keeping my eye on both of them!?
Here is a picture from today right before church. We all tried to look festive in Halloween colors!

Love this picture!....love these boys!

Mason is growing up so fast.

Since Halloween landed on a "Sunday" this year we choose not to participate in going trick or treating due to the way both Scotland and I were raised in keeping the Sabbath day holy. We still supported the holiday and bought a whole bunch of candy to pass out this year. ( First time doing so) and to also make it fun for my boys I was super mom and completely re-arranged my front living room to fit our bouncy house inside......I know crazy huh!?

I can't believe it actually fit!!

The boys loved it!

It was perfect the boys would slide down the slide every time the doorbell rang....

and handed out candy......They didn't even seem to mind when some of their friends came by to trick or treat. Mason I think is still young enough to not put two and two together that he wasn't out there trick or treating also.
We explained to him "our family" rule about keeping the sabbath day holy and we aren't sure if it really makes since to him but at least we are starting young so it won't be so hard when they get older.

Chace didn't care one bit as long as he had CANDY!!

This is a funny video of the boys trying a "war-head" piece of candy. I didn't give it to them just to be mean. They kept asking me for one of those and I told them over and over NO those are too sour for you guys. I finally gave in and they learned what the word "sour" means real quick!
I just had to get it on video!!!
SOUR = "STING" to them...
Chace was pretty smart in that last video and took it out quickly Mason not so quick on things!? Watch this one....
I didn't dress up today just wore this "corny" shirt :)

But we did have plans to go to a party on Friday night with some friends. We weren't able to go due to Scotland having to work but this is what I was going to go as...

I was going as a "modest" Lady GaGa. And just in case nobody would know who I was since I wasn't going to be half naked like she usually is I made a replica of a Grammy award that she won for the best recording artist to carry around with me. Kinda Gehto but as good as I could get to the real thing?.....

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween this year!~ (Now I can't wait to start decorating for CHRISTMAS!)

Oh Traci the boys on the video was sooooo funnnny. I watched them 3 times!!!! Chace caught on pretty fast... Then when Mason caught on he couldn't get rid of it fast enough!!! The bug blow up jumpy-P-jumpy was a great idea!!! I'm proud of you teaching the boys about the do's and don'ts for sunday activities.
Looks like you guys had an eventful Halloween weekend!! Your costume was so cute! Miss and love you all!
Love the cute costumes and all the pictures! We didn't trick-or-treat on Sunday, either. But the kids had a BLAST handing out candy!
