Then it was time to head down stairs into the Lego Land

Thanks to my dads help I was able to have life size Lego's set up for him! He got all the boxes for me and painted them all bright colors with circles on them to look like real Lego's. Mason was in heaven!

I just tried to put Lego's where ever I could downstairs

For breakfast he picked this cereal....I was shocked he didn't want "green eggs"!?

Since there was no school we just got started getting ready for his birthday party that was going to start at 12:30 with his friends.....Scotland set the bouncy house up in the nursery/toy room and then filled it with balloons!

Here are the invitations we made for his birthday party.....I made these out of foam sheets, hole punch and a whole lot of gluing. Mason helped with the gluing and had a lot of fun!

With the extra foam I also made the Thank you cards to hand out for later....

Here is his "Thank you bags" I put together for all his friends after the party too....

They were mostly filled with random Lego birthday favors but then I also made these cute Lego hand soaps. I'm sure the boys weren't very excited about them but I saw the idea on pinterest and just had to try them. Hey I'll do anything to get my boys to love washing their hands :)

Time for the party to start! 6 boys were invited

Happy Birthday song and cupcake time!

Since the bouncy house ripped we had to go with plan B and put all their shoes and coats back on and let them play outside (Thankfully the snow had all melted by then) They boys didn't seem to mind one bit that they were kicked outside.

After the party and everyone went home I had a little time to get dinner started for when my parents came over. He is the funniest boy. For his birthday dinner he picked twice baked potatoes, chicken strips, deviled eggs, pickles and shrimp!? He loves shrimp.

Then it was present time....
My parents gave him a Angry Birds hat and matching T Shirt that changes color in the sunlight.....also lots and lots of church shirts! Which I may be a little more excited about than the boys but theres nothing like having more than one shirt and one pair of pants to choose from for church! Thank you mom :)

And also a toy "FRANK"!!!!!!! This was his favorite gift of the night I'm guessing since he sleeps with it. He has wanted one of these for so long. It is a character off Disney Cars. You can't find it in stores so my mom special ordered it off line for him. Worth every penny he LOVES it!!

Of course Chace wasn't left out one bit...

A big Thank you to Nana and Papa

And to all who send him cards and money!! He is one lucky little 6 year old.

After presents it was cake time....(notice he is still holding frank)

After cake Nana and Papa left and we headed upstairs to skype with Grandma and Grandpa on the computer and open their presents they gave you. What a fun filled day for you Mason. We love you so much and are so proud to have you as our first son. You are a great big brother and Im so greatful for the example you set. Can't wait to do this all over for you again next year!

The part of the night that I keep going back to and laughing at is when Mason got the wrapping paper off the box that I put "Frank" in and because it wasn't the actual box Mason saw the brown box and stopped and just looked at it and thought that was it and said, "Awwww, I got just a box." He didn't know I disguised Frank by putting it in a plain brown box. We had to tell him to continue opening the brown box.... It was soooo FUN to see both Mason and Chace's faces. Boy if they are that excited and LOUD at B-day gifts...what's Christmas like???
