He was so excited to deliver them with daddy
Mason also helped me make a pinata for his party. We got a big empty cereal box that would be the perfect size for Sponge Bob. Then we made a paste out of flour and water and shredded some news paper. Next was just a mess....but I think with some projects if you don't get messy your not doing it right. We had fun layering the goopy strips on the box then I put it in the oven on low heat to harden it.
Then I drew a face and how I wanted it decorated and we started gluing little balled up tissue paper on it
So anyway this is how it turned out.....not bad and it saved me $17.00!
The night before after we finally got him to sleep we started decorating! (My favorite part)
He woke up the next morning and was sooooooo excited!!!!!
After picking up his friends (yes I know ALL girls) we headed to a place called JJ Jump! This place is amazing! It's the largest inflatable indoor arena in Washington with 6000 sq ft of jumpin fun! The kids had so much fun here.... Mason, Paige, Avery and Kali
Then it was back to Mason's house for some "crabby patties" for lunch (Sponge Bob humor)
Then we played some games like Pin the _______ on Sponge Bob. This is a poster I made where they have to try and pin the eye's, nose and his tie in the right place.
Then I had them run around the house while they tried to balance a crabby Patty on a spatula. (I know it looks real but it's just a plastic hamburger)
Next is one of my favorite parts. I gave them all a shovel and a treasure map and had them go find where their treasure was buried. It wasn't too hard for them because the map only had one picture on it. An "X" with sand glued all around it so they knew to go outside straight to the sand box!
Then it was back inside to see the loot!
Next was Cake and presents!
Pinata time!
It wouldn't stay screwed to the ceiling so Scotland ended up having to hold it....this is a "funniest home video" moment waiting to happen?!?
Everyone took a turn at it even Chace....
The thing would not brake...I obviously made it way to strong and the kids were getting tired of waiting
So Scot to the rescue had to just rip it open!
We swang in the back for a little bit before it was time to go home and they loved this almost as much as JJ Jump!?
After we took his friends home the party didn't stop there. My parents came over to give him their presents and we gave him ours too.
Chace spitting out some candy that was too sour!
Here we all are playing with his "Geo Trax". For those of you with little boys these toy's are a must have! They take up alot of space but they are good strong tracks and trains that will last forever.
More cake!?!?

And here I am......
I was exhausted but it was all so worth it! This is what parenting is all about for me. Im not a big fan of the "new born" baby stage. I like to do the fun creative things with my kids and see the reward on their little faces when they light up with joy. Mason had told me "Thank you" a dozen times yesterday for his birthday and that just melts my heart. I love you Mason and Im so proud that you are my son! Happy Birthday Buddy

Very cute! Happy birthday Mason!!!
I can see why you're tired! Wow, you had so much for them to do! Now I see why the party had to be 5 hours! (or 6 hours in Avery's case; thanks again for that!) It was cute to see Mason so excited. Avery had a blast.
What a great party!! Everything turned out so cute and it looked like all the kids had fun! Wish we were there to celebrate, but we'll see all of you soon!
looks like so much fun!!! you came up with such creative ideas (of course)!! Paige sat here and looked at all of the pictures with me and narrated the whole party. She had a blast too! :) Happy birthday Mater!

Traci you are so creative! I think you went above and beyond as far as coming up with great party ideas. Very cute!
Happy Birthday to Mason, Elise can't wait to come and see him!!!
Oh my heavens...I need you here in Utah to plan some of my boys parties. I'm running out of ideas and this looked so fun. Great Job Aunt Traci!
Wow, what an awesome party! LOVE the invitation idea. So cool!!
Way to go! You definitely take after your sister in the party planning! You guys are amazing!
I do the picture collages in a program called Picasa. It is free to download and you can use it to edit, organize, and collage your pictures. You just select the ones you want in a collage and click the collage button and TA DAH! Easy Peasy!
WOW...what a party. Those invites and pinata were darling! You can help me with my kiddos next. Kaylyns is in June and I owe her big because she never got a 'friend' party last year. I'll have to try that JJ Jump. I've heard great things about it, but have never been.
