Happy Mother's day 5-9-2010

My mother's day today was perfect! I didn't want breakfast in bed (not a big breakfast eater). I much rather just sleep in, so that's exactly what I did! We went to church and today was the first Sunday I didn't have to go into nursery once with Chace. He made it through the whole 2 hrs. by himself! Then when we got home I had one of the best dinner's I've had in a long time! Scotland had marinated a huge London broil steak all night and then B.B.Q it for dinner. It was soooooo good. Here is a picture of the left overs we had of it...told you it was huge!

Scotland also made me a jello cake...I think that's what it's called? It was good but I don't think I liked it quite as much as Chace....

We went to a park and took a long walk. The boy's gave me their Huge homemade cards Scot had them make for me, and a friend just stopped by and dropped a piece of choc. cake off for me! This day just keeps getting better and better. Wish it didn't have to end.

Here is a picture of Mason's first Mother's day project he made at school and brought home for me. I know there will be many more but there's just something about that first one that is special. The flower smells really bad so I won't be keeping it for long but I at least wanted to get a picture of it to remember it by.

My family is the best! Thanks for such a great Mother's day. I love you guys so much! And I'm grateful for such a loving husband that can make this day so special for me!

This is my mom. She is a great Mother and an even better Nana to my boy's! It's so nice having her live 10 min. away to help with "my" motherly duties now. She comes to almost every indoor soccer game I have on Saturday night's just as she did to all my other sporting event's while I was growing up. I love that we share the same interest in soccer. Hope you had a great Mother's day mom! p.s.....We really need an updated picture!?
